Shorts Review: WWE Slam City “A Big Brawl”
Why can’t the WWE have a muffler match?
And we’re back in Slam City, where the WWE wrestlers now have day jobs, still for no explained reason. This week, John Cena is an automotive repair man. I’m a little stumped, though. I am not sure where “A Big Brawl” was trying to go with this episode. Maybe it’s because I’m lost as to why John Cena even no-sells in a cartoon. There is redeeming value when Big Show walks into the shop with a car wedged between his ass cheeks. Ultimately, Cena gets him on the car lift, and sends him so far up, Big Show is in another Earth’s orbit. Show finally crashes down, and fits into his car. The end, I think.
Not gonna lie, this episode was whack. There was no charm in this episode like in “Cold…Stone Cold.” The slapstick humor was lost to me as well, and it wasn’t because of Cena. For whatever reason, I just couldn’t get into this like I have the other episodes that are out on the internet. Even the other episodes with Cena were funnier. You have to take the good with the bad, and I am sure that Nicktoons has a good shorts series in Slam City. Luckily, the bad episodes are few and far between, and they’re two minutes long. Now, save your $9.99, and check the episode out here!
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
