Shorts Review: Late Night Snack “Jack and the Beanstalk”

Blake Anderson tells the tale of a kid who trades a cow that can’t produce milk for beans that grow a huge beanstalk. Jack ends up climbing the stalk and finds a bag of gold to bring home for his mom. Unfortunately, mama wants more but Jack can only go to the well so much before the giant tumbles to his doom in a quick pursuit of the thief.

Our Take

After a two week break, the latest Titmouse short on TruTV returns with a hilariously read tale from Workaholics’ Blake Anderson. Imagine if you will weed stalks, and Jack’s mom telling her kid to rob the giant. The short is animated a shade like Randy Cunningham which is just fine with me, I only wish we’d get more shorts per “Snack” half-hour.
