Shorts Review: College Humor Teaches Us A Real Love Story With “Tinderella!”

 

Dating apps are hilarious to me. It’s really the penultimate version of people watching if ya ask me. The commercials always sell it like all these hot girls are just sitting around on their phones just waiting to talk to you, but in all actuality all the hot girls are on their phones talking to their boyfriends and all the swamp creatures and hood rats are the ones staring at Tinder just waiting to spring their trap. To quote one Daffy Duck: “No no. Not again. Not this time.”

 

“Now’s your chance Hawkeye! Swoon ’em! Swoon ’em!!”

The sad part of it all is that College Humor is absolutely right. The dating app world and social media really has become the true world love story. It’s like hunting on a wildlife reserve. It’s not a fair fight when there are fences. So get out there and fail like the rest of us have done before you!

But seriously, this video truly had me in stitches. The Disneyesque animation is spot on and with a little extra flair like tattoos and whatnot. The writing is solid with a whimsical flow that mirrors the music perfectly. If this video were a girl on Tinder ya boy Achille$ would swipe to the right 100/100 times!
