Season One Review: Gravity Falls
How did we think the first season of Gravity Falls fared? Find out in this review!

Gravity Falls was one hell of a roller coaster ride to cover. At first this show seemed like a mish-mash of strong talent like Kristen Schaal, TJ Miller, and Linda Cardellini, but Jason Ritter was NOT selling for me. His earlier episodes sounded like he was just voice-reading versus voice-acting. However, as time went on and as more and more episodes were produced you can tell Jason was beginning to settle in and as such the show got better and better until this thing started to become unstoppable.
It was in July 2012 when the ‘Inconveniencing’ episode came on and we scored it perfect. Back then we knew…we have a hit on our hands Eventually, the show would keep a rather consistent pace which is impressive for a show that has THIS many episodes. Lord knows even big-time franchises like Regular Show and Phineas and Ferb have been known to follow up stellar episodes with stinky ones. Not to say Gravity Falls hasn’t had duds, but for the most part Season 1 was strong with perfect or near-perfect episodes like ‘The Deep End‘, ‘Dreamscaperers‘, and ‘The Inconveniencing’.
Already, Gravity Falls has turned into a rather strong series for Disney as more and more cosplayers start to show up, promotions start to kick in, and appearances in the Disney Comics Zone issues as well as games start to increase. Show creator Alex Hirsch says Season 2 of Gravity Falls may be the last, but for Disney Channel’s sake let’s hope he is lying because this series could be legendary.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
