Review: We Bare Bears “Icy Nights”
Icy Nights in October?
Spoilers Below
When Ice Bear decides to take a late night trip to the store for food, he takes the only form of transportation he has – a souped up Roomba. The Roomba is so awesome that a group of preppy guys cut the lock and steal it while Ice Bear is paying for his stuff. Angry, Ice Bear tracks down the guys, only to find that they have altered his vacuum. Then they entered it into a Battlebots-type competition! Before he can save his vacuum, Ice Bear gets captured. The douche boys try to get his Roomba to destroy him but the little robot won’t kill its rightful owner. Together, Ice Bear and the Roomba take down all of the other Battlebots. Even though the little robot is almost entirely destroyed, Ice Bear still takes it home. He tries to fix it with a few band-aids. After all that, the Roomba still turns on when Ice Bear claps.
A second Ice Bear-centric episode in a row? OK. The last episode was a sweet little tale about Ice Bear growing up. This episode was more like an 80s renegade cop show. It was kinda funny that everyone wanted this little customized Roomba but there wasn’t a lot that kept my interest. It felt like it was a lot of angry looks mixed with douchey 80s teenage villains. Other shows have done this before and they did it better. Maybe we just got too much Ice Bear. The Ice Bear love needs to be spread out, not concentrated in a few quick episodes.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
