Review: Venture Bros. “Tanks For Nuttn”

Tonight’s  episode entitled “Tanks For Nuttn” (Has to be a reference to Caddyshack’s Maggie, right?) contains one of the funniest images I’ve seen in a very long time. What could be better than Billy in a video that has gone viral, doing his best drunken David Hasselhoff. I’m still laughing. However, I was disappointed that we see very little billy in this installment. As a matter of fact Billy, Rusty, Hank and Dean seem to be in each new episode less and less.
It kind of reminds me of so many Superhero franchises where the villain(s) become the main story and the title character(s) become secondary. The truth is, that evil (even in a animated comedy) is more interesting than good. Not to mention that you can keep adding new and different villains whenever you feel like it. It makes sense as it keeps a show fresh but you have to remember to always “Dance with the one that brung ya”
Case in point, this episode is mostly about a couple of awesome villains. Professor Think Tank (classic name) and Battleaxe. The latter who drives around in an almost exact replica of the customized Zombie-Mobile from the Dawn Of The Dead Remake. Battleaxe also reminded me of Mad Max Fury Road but that might because I had just finished watching the Oscars.  We also get a good dose of everyone’s favorite married bad guy couple The Monarch and Dr. Mrs The Monarch. (I admit it, I love her)
Brock and Warrianna seem to have had some kind of weird sex that would make Richard Gere blush and Professor Think Tank makes a stellar Evelyn Wood Joke that you have to be as old as me to understand. It made me shoot soda out of my nose.
I give this episode a
