Review: Turbo Fantasy “Team Work”

There’s no “I” in Turbo Fantasy.

Overview(Spoilers Below)

After Turbo and the gang wrap a little butt-kicking, the four head back to HQ to take part in a fun game which is clearly the inspiration for Turbo’s entire life. Turbo wants to use the game playing experience as a tool to teach everyone about working together which really comes to a head when the game floats into space. In the end, it’s Turbo that learns an important lesson regarding teamwork and trusting his team, which consists of Robot, Greggy, and Colin, in times of need.

Our Take

Compared to the length of the previous series on VRV/Mondo, I’m surprised that all Mondo did was just double up on the normal runtime for Turbo Fantasy. For fans of the web series, you’ll be right at home, the silly but lovable idiot known as Turbo Fantasy is just as nuts as ever. That said, if you’re like me and were maybe looking for a little more growth in the franchise given the expanded canvas, you may be disappointed.
