Review: Turbo Fantasy “Head Trapped”
We almost had excrement.
Overview
When the battery goes dead, Turbo, Greggy, and Colin get stuck in the robot’s head and need to pass the time until it recharges. As a result, everyone gets into a bit of a competition to drive the other nuts. For Colin, it’s pretending to go to the bathroom, for the others, it’s singing songs that double as a backstory as to how Turbo and Greggy joined the team. Eventually, Colin gets sick of it and finds an alternate route out of the robot, but pretty much leaves the others stuck behind.
Our Take
An entertaining soundtrack that doubles as a backstory? A novel concept that works and is hilarious at the same time. Turbo Fantasy isn’t Arrival by any means, but it knows what it is and it’s making it work.
