Review: The Amazing World of Gumball “The Buddy”
Are you really my buddy?
Overview (Spoilers Below)
Someone has sent a virus to all of the media center PC’s and both Anais and Jamie are blamed by the principal. As a result, the duo teams up to figure out who framed them of the crime and learn that the culprit was closer than we might have thought. After an enthralling battle, Anais and Jamie are cleared of all charges and more importantly become good friends in the process.
Our Take
A fascinating plot for Gumball, filled with twists and turns that had me guessing right up until the end. The most impressive part of the episode was by far the climax and the epic battle that took place in the library which almost felt like it could’ve been ripped from the pages of Gravity Falls, only, it was on Gumball. Episodes, where Darwin and Gumball aren’t the stars, are refreshing and I wouldn’t mind more like this in the future.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
