Review: Robot Chicken’s Santa’s Dead (Spoiler Alert) Holiday Murder Thing Special

Take Murder on the Orient Express and cross it with a Robot Chicken episode laden with a slew of holiday characters, and you have yourself the essential idea behind this special. In this case, someone has killed Santa Claus and Detective Jesus H. Christ is here to help solve the case. We come to find out the culprit(s) who may be technically innocent anyway.
Our Take
To tell you the truth I was looking forward to Seth Green’s “Santa” dying because I always preferred the Seth MacFarlane “Santa” from Robot Chicken’s yesteryear. In any event, with the “whodunit” craze in full effect with the recent Oscar buzz going around for Knives Out, fans will certainly enjoy this effort. Lots of twists and turns and jokes targeting religious affiliations which is always a welcome turn for me. The episode comes complete with a slew of special guest voices including the brilliant Wayne Knight, Jason Alexander, and the one and only Breckin Meyer as the always trusty Jesus.
