Review: Regular Show “VIP Members Only”

Rigby tells a story to Eileen on how he, Mordecai, Muscle Man, and High Fives became VIP’s at Cheezer’s. Turns out, the process to become a VIP is arduous but it’s either that or you have to be an astronaut in order to be considered for the position. The alternative is a 6-hour application process followed by chores that are handed out by this lady that works at Cheezer’s. 

We soon find out, there’s another way the guys can be a VIP and get a hold of an exclusive new sandwich…they have to fight a monster in front of a crowd of astronauts. They do just that and destroy the monster with the power of the American flag. The guys set the crowd ablaze, and are awarded VIP passes.

Our Take

We’ve seen a lot of this episode before in other iterations, but I still had a lot of fun. The cast of Regular Show going to all odds in order to get some sort of food usually makes for a good time because the food in question is always hilarious. In this case it’s a pulled pork sandwich. In years’ past we’ve seen burritos and whatever else the guys want. That said, the amount of BS that the guys ultimately have to go through to get the VIP is ridiculous…and what was with all of the astronaut bashing? Boy, if I’m an astronaut watching Regular Show, I’m hating life after THIS episode.
