Review: NFL Rush Zone: Guardians Unleashed – “Anticorian Unrest”

Spoilers Below

This week’s guests are Greg “The Only Person Holding My Fantasy Team Together” Olsen of the Carolina Panthers and Andrew “Neck Beard” Luck of the Indianapolis Colts.

After a big play in their big game, Ash gets some pretty big news as well. Her father is getting remarried. Ash is excited but sad because of the loss of her mother a long time ago. She is then called to The Hall for some training. The training specifically centers on trusting the help around you and working as a team. This will come in handy when RZ shuts down for his annual 72-hour reboot. In the Anticorian lair, Dropkick informs the Anticorians that two more shards of the MegaCore will be easily accessible as the Colts and Panthers will be hosting Family Day celebrations. As Greg Olsen is interviewed on the field, Andrew Luck is trying to find a safe place for the Colts MegaCore. As he rolls up on the containment unit, Blitzborgs attack.

Luck grabs the MegaCore and gets away on a golf cart. The Guardians show up and quell the attack. Luck is able to steer around long enough until the battle is over and is able to get the MegaCore to the Colts mascot for safekeeping. The Anticorians are able to sneak past security and blast open the Colts door, obtaining the Colts MegaCore before heading for the Panthers MegaCore. Ash’s soon-to-be Stepmom, Linda, is in with Greg Olsen, the Panthers mascot and the Panther’s Core. The Anticorians blast their way in after reprogramming Blitzborgs to attack Dropkick and battle for the Core. Ash shows up and let’s the Anticorians escape as long as they let Linda go.

The Anticorians present the two Cores to Sudden Death as Dropkick complains that the people who targeted him he called friends. Sudden Death reminds everyone that they have two pieces of the Core and that’s all that matters.
