Malik runs into Jamal, Grover, and Milk and agrees to help Grover find Cindy in exchange for saving his life. Turns out, Grover’s been trying all episode to reply to a Cindy text after the internet’s been down. We learn that Cindy texting Grover was an accident and that she lays down big stinkers.

Jamal and Grover bury their hatchet, and Milk forgives Jamal for crushing his blow up doll. And yes, the kids finally get to see that Bill Cosby sex tape.

Our Take

This week’s episode of Legends of Chamberlain Heights actually does a very good job of raising an important issue…our addiction to the internet. Just think, what would we as a society do if we were to go say more than a week with no connection? Welp, as it turns out, it would just be porn and social media as per the producers and I gotta say,  they probably aren’t far off.

Malik’s plot was your classic ‘cash grab’ trope that we’ve seen for years on The Simpsons but it worked really well. What else worked were the jokes tonight, and there were some good ones. The Bill Cosby material STILL works because his shit is still in the news and even South Park’s playing with that topic the last week or so. And lest we forget an elbow drop of a joke laid down on Kobe Bryant and his championship rings complete with the epic burn finish. That said, are blow up dolls even a thing still?
