Spoilers Below

A Day of No To-Do

Harvey shows up to play with Fee and Foo with his very own day-planner. Unfortunately, Harvey is so O.C.D. with his planner that Fee has to take it away from him. It isn’t long before the kids actually need the planner so as to utilize the map to help get them home, but we learn that Fee has lost it in a lake. Harvey freaks out, but calms down long enough for the kids to have a euphoric experience with the forest wild life which takes on a life of its own at night time. Cool Bug shows up and leads everyone home, and Foo makes a new planner for Harvey.

Our Take

I have OCD tendencies, too. And while this week’s episode kicks off like an ordinary night out, as the run-time drags on you are well aware of the power that this show has. From the absolutely gorgeous backgrounds, to the Fantasia-esque take on the forest’s wild-life, you forget quickly any qualms you had about plot or dialogue. The paint brush utilized here is breath-taking, and Ego Plum continues to amaze with a musical score that just continues to layer the brilliance for this show.

Recipe for Disaster

Harvey tries to make dinner for his parents so as to give them the night off, but fails miserably despite the fact having Fee and Foo to help out. Fortunately, Randl has a pizza joint and the fam just orders out.

Our Take

The recap seems brief, but this may have been the better of the two episodes in terms of plot, and Randl almost steals the half hour. Marc Maron (Randl) is just way too much…way too much. To the point where I am falling out of my chair, writhing in laughter because of him. Moreover, Harvey’s adorable factor is just through the roof, now this show seems to have found its groove.
