Review: Good Vibes “Floatopia”

Spoilers Below!

Here it comes fellas, nothing like feeling the call of Spring Break when we are in the dead of fall. Thankfully, Woodie and Mondo live in an animated wold and they are material girls…or boys. As this week they decide to host their OWN spring break bash, but with a twist. You see in accordance with US law they have to have the party 20 miles off shore which allows things like underage drinking and overall debauchery. The party gets pretty established too, and the guys look like heroes to all of the smoking hot girls, the cool dudes, and the stoned umm Lonnie.

Its so great that even Jeena gets into it, and wants a personal tour courtesy of Mondo himself, where he shows her to the arts and crafts, jeopardy, and other wet shirt contest-related activities. This is where Jeena catches Turk screwing around with other girls which makes her cut off the relationship. However, there’s a more pressing need, NO MORE BEER! Thankfully, a Shartz boat shows up and saves the day serving up an endless amount of booze. Feeling depressed, Jeena gets shit-faced and makes herself easy prey for Mondo(yep girls this is how we pretty much all work) who actually has a change of heart do to her messed up state, and instead brings her to shore to sober up.

Mondo then gets pissed because he feels the party has gotten out of control and should be shut down, so he goes back, saves Woodie, but not before the entire crowd turns against them and sends them back with Wadske  who is not too far behind. After suiting up(with Wadske as the yellow Power Ranger) they go back to the party to tear it down!

Another solid episode for Good Vibes, and I’m really starting to like the morals in the story that come about in each episode to help counteract the silliness of B&B. Also, GV features one of the better music soundtracks in animated shows, by using music to help aid the story-telling ala like a Hollywood movie. But, it has the jokes too and nothing beats Jon Gosselin making an unannounced appearance as an attraction at the party…killed me!
