REVIEW: FAMILY GUY “Tom Tucker: The Man and His Dream”

Peter heads to Hollywood with his favorite actor—Quahog newsanchor Tom Tucker, who once played a killer in a slasher flick—to try to reinvigorate Tom’s career. Meanwhile, Chris falls for a girl who looks just like the girl who married dear old dad.

Guess what? In Halloween IV, Mike Myers was played by Tom Tucker. When Peter finds out, he decides to help Tom become a movie star by acting as his new agent. As luck would have it Peter’s pretty good at this shit even getting Tom an audition with NCIS. With Peter’s new found success, he brings on a second client…JAMES FRIGGIN WOODS! Its here Mr. Woods tells his story of how he was brought back to life after getting killed in another episode(“And Then There Were Fewer”). After a while, Peter decides to drop Tom as an agent but then he gets fired by James which sends the guys back to Rhode Island.

Chris meets a girl named Lindsay at school who looks just like Lois which makes his mom all that more encouraging of the budding relationship. Brian actually points this out, but Stew and Lois just brush it off as jealousy, but soon enough Lois catches Lindsay making out with another dude like a whore. But, when Lois tells her son about it he doesn’t even care.

Judging from the previews, I really thought Ellen Page was going to ruin this episode like her Juno co-star ruined Simpsons. But, she was hardly in it, giving us a whole heaping helpful of JAMES WOODS! Yea, I know I keep yelling his name but he’s my favorite recurring character for Family Guy and I didn’t even know he was a guest star this week. Plus, if you love cutaways this week was chockful of them, everything from God almost getting caught masturbating, Chris taking on the form of a Dilophosaurus, and Peter sending Stewie into a paper shredder make me want to watch it again when it premiers on Adult Swim.
