Review: Family Guy “Seahorse Seashell Party”

As a result of an on-going hurricane, the Griffins end up having to stay inside the house all day with nothing but their wit. As a result, Brian eats a shit ton of mushrooms and ends up tripping like a mother, and Meg gets really mad at Chris, Lois, and Peter.

So as Quahog weathers the storm, the family partakes in stupid activities to occupy their time. From charades, dad noises, and an entertaining round of finger banging would all seem normal compared to Brian eating mushrooms which causes him to self-mutilate with a pair of scissors.

After a rather entertaining singalong from Peter, the family and Meg start to get on each other’s nerves in which after Brian’s crazy dream, a newly confident Meg makes a stand against everyone else and their constant berating and brings up valid points against Chris and Lois’ shortcomings.  Then…

PETER VS MEG! After Meg RIPS into Peter, its every person for them self as everyone starts to taunt each other and air some dirty laundry with farts in the pocket caused by broccoli and sprouts.

In short, the clincher was Stewie’s epilogue to the audience. Again, not seeing much ‘Crossover” but at least the plots were really well written and Brian’s drug-induced dream was pretty awesome.
