Review: Doraleous & Associates: EP.38 – Meowdusa

After the victory and the epic killing of the rock Gollum, Doraleous, Mirdon, Thesaurus and Drak go to head back to Doraleous Castle while Bruf and Ampherney head to kill the King who put the hit on Bruf and the Legapur. On the way back to Doraleous castle though the Associates come across a village where dozens of statues of people are about, who all have the happiest grins plastered on their faces. An old crazy man tells the heroes that an evil monster transformed the village into stone when the villagers looked into its eyes. Now Bruf and Amphermey face the king’s royal guards and Doraleous, Mirdon and Drak face a medusa comprised of a dozen kittens, can they all survive in the most hilarious badass way possible? Yes.

Another great episode with some top-notch character writing, inventive jokes and badass fight scenes. The king’s death is especially awesome. I just can’t stop laughing at every joke, and Bruf and Mirdon steal the show, as Mirdon who has become slightly more stupid since Season 1 has this air of naivety that makes his line reads when it comes to Meowdusa especially hilarious. And Bruf is just a badass who has some of the most brilliant dialogue possible. These are all the exact reasons why I watch Doraleous and Associates and the exact reasons why I would recommend this series to anyone.
