Review: Deep Space 69 Expansion Pack

How do you value a purchase when you can get a lot of what’s included for free? Today, you can get a majority of the Deep Space 69 episodes on the mondomedia.com website, but for about $6, you can get a very uncensored take on Deep Space 69.

For those that don’t know, Deep Space 69 is an animated shorts series featuring sexual savant Jay and his koala bear pal Hamilton in the lead roles. The two traverse the galaxy taking on missions which usually involves Jay getting laid in SOME way. It really doesn’t even matter if Jay hooks up with a human, or an alien, or Princess Leia, just so long as he gets his ‘beak’ wet, Jay considers it a home run. And as hinted at, yes, we get a bunch of parodies this season of the sci-fi variety including that of which includes Star Wars, Star Trek, and others.

For most intellectual properties, you may really just get a bunch of uncensored dialogue and alas…you get that with the Deep Space 69 expansion package. But what you get WAY more in this collection than any other is TONS of animated sex. The best way I can really equate it is if hentai is considered in the hardcore porn league, Deep Space 69 is like the stuff you see on Cinemax just in animated form and the acting is a tad better.

So is this collection worth the price tag? I’m not sure. As mentioned, the website has a majority of these episodes, however, you get a couple more were apparently too crazy for Youtube. Everything is uncensored, yes, but if that’s not important for you, you are basically paying $6 for two new episodes which is the highest per-episode cost for uncensored animation in the business today.
