Review: Daddy And The Big Boy “Ice Cream”

Overview

Daddy and the Big Boy plan to go get ice cream but actually, have no idea where the ice cream place is so they settle for hot dogs.

Our Take

Anyone expecting any intense level of storytelling from Daddy And The Big Boy,  expect to see none of that here. Instead, we get a silly short, though if I’m VRV/Mondo I’m probably looking at 2018 as a year where I can get good verifiable date as to what my fanbase likes. Do they like the juicier type stuff from Gary And His Demons or Lastman, or do they prefer the old school Youtube variety that gives us Daddy And The Big Boy and Turbo Fantasy? For my money, I think I prefer the beefier content because then I feel like I’m getting my money’s worth. If I’m paying a monthly subscription for animated shorts, I’m not sure it wouldn’t be better just to post stuff like this on Youtube, even in today’s shitty Youtube environment.
