Review: Camp Camp “Quartermaster Appreciation Day”
It sure happened.
Spoilers Below:
David is fed up with the kids mistreating the Quartermaster, and declares Wednesday Quartermaster Appreciation Day. He says to cheer up the Quartermaster, he brought his half-sister, the Quartersister. However, the two hate each other, and instantly begin fighting. Hoping to clean up the mess he caused, David tells the kids to find some gifts for the Quartermaster as he arranges a counseling session.
Neither is willing to talk with each other, and David’s counseling session goes poorly. Quartermaster finally admits that he has feelings for Quartersister, and they begin to make out.
Meanwhile, the kids search through the Quartermaster’s stuff and is grossed out with what they find. They set one of the boxes on fire, and leave. They arrive just as the two are having a romantic picnic. David admits that he’s gone too far this time, and says he supports their happiness– for a second, before backing out.
The two say that they’re getting married, and the kids offer the regifts as wedding gifts. They go into the mess hall for their honeymoon, which catches fire. Max calls it justice. As the fire gets put out, only the Quartermaster remains. He offers no explanation as to where Quartersister went, only ominously saying, “two to go.”
Overview:
I’m not entirely sure what to say.
If the purpose of this episode was to show us how strange the Quartermaster is, then it succeeded. Aside from that, it didn’t seem to have a point. To gross out the audience, maybe?
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
