Review: Bounty Hunters ‘Love, Southern Style’
Spoilers Below
The guys have a new bounty, but strangely enough Lisa wants to come with this time. Turns out Lisa knows this guy Hutch as she has history with the dude from her bounty hunting days in Staten Island, NY. We find out that this bounty hunt isn’t a hunt, but rather Lisa’s revenge on ol’ Hutch for breaking her heart and ummm entering her. Turns out she was just pissed that he never called her, but it looks as though Hutch is in town to make things right.
Hutch and Lisa decide to get married and as such the soon to be groom has decided to get in on the bounty hunting business and take some of the profits from Larry, Jeff, and Bill. Yea this isn’t the only time Hutch has had an issue with money as he’s been bleeding Lisa dry for years. As a result the Blue Collar crew decide to team up and find some dirt on this Hutch character before he ruins their business. The guys find out that Hutch has some old gambling debts and he’s got two guys hot on his trail.
Unfortunately, Lisa isn’t buying the guys’ story but on the day of the wedding she beats the shit out of Hutch and scares him off. Apparently, Lisa knew the entire time that Hutch was using her and just played along.
This was one of the better episodes because it sounded like a typical Lisa routine, but the downside is it features a censored Lisa, not the explicit Lisa that I grew up on. The premise has been done a thousand times, and all of the cutaway story lines were starting to get annoying, but Lisa does her best to save the show.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
