Spoiler Below

The hunters make an arrest, but we learn that Jeff used to be a cop, but gets fired by a crooked Chief of Police after arresting a crooked mayor. Back at Barton, the guys get another bounty this one named Rooster. They just miss him at a robbery, but Jeff runs into his old boss and a bunch of jawing goes on back and forth. Rooster hits up another store and Jeff runs into his boss again and the two get taken hostage.

The rest of the guys at Barton get a call from Rooster who has Jeff and the Police Chief Smits tied up, and yea he’s got a ransom note out for them now. Larry and Bill head to the mayor’s to get some back up, but he only cares about Smits. They eventually get an envelope from the kidnapper with Jeff’s mustache which means Rooster means BUSINESS. Thankfully, they get a tip of where Rooster may have his hostages. Problem is Rooster is going NUTS with withdrawals from an energy drink and sets his trailer on fire.

Jeff and Smits are still in the trailer, but they settle their differences and are able to escape before any harm comes. With the Barton crew reunited and Smits in tow, the guys head to Rooster’s next hold up….the doughnut shop. With team work, the guys are able to arrest Rooster before he does any more damage.. But what is Barton going to do about Jeff’s stache??

A solid effort this week for the hunters as we get closer to the season finale (and it only took FOUR months!) even if everyone kind of could tell that Jeff’s side of the story was too good to be true, the hostage situation was a nice change of pace. The one strong suit about this series is that the writers haven’t repeated themselves on the overall premises even if some of the plot points are related which makes for a strong staff that brings on a bevy of ideas. Too bad we probably won’t see them for that much longer.
