Review: American Dad! “The Dentist’s Wife” (S13Ep12)

Tonight’s new American Dad! episode, “The Dentist’s Wife” was, in my opinion, easily one of the best of this 13th season so far.

In tonight’s gloriously Roger-centric episode, Roger becomes enamored with the wife of a dentist who does great things, donates to charity, helps the homeless (even though Roger points out that he has SEX with the homeless), and who is generally a great person. In true Roger fashion, he takes things too far, and there are cops, and kidnappings, and everything that makes a great episode of American Dad.

Meanwhile, Stan, Steve and Hayley do Crossfit and become paralyzed, much to Klaus’ amusement, and Francine attempts to persuade Roger to chill out. We get to see a lot of cool things– we finally get to see where Roger creates his characters (computer design station) and documents them, before he burns it all (he programmed the robots to feel burning).

There are a LOT of laughs in this episode, and it has a really cohesive feel to it. Also, there’s an old-school AD vibe to it. Hell, Francine points out how horny Roger is. Just a great time overall.
