REVIEW: AMERICAN DAD “STANNY TENDERGRASS”

Stan’s efforts to join a country club prove futile (though Steve is invited to join), but things aren’t what they might seem to be when Stan discovers who the club owner really is.

Spoilers Below

Turns out, Stan has been a groundskeeper at the local country club for 30 years in an effort to save enough money to one day be a member. But, this year is different because Steve will be working with his old man in an attempt to learn about the value of the dollar. Their boss is a guy by the name of Mr. Vanderhill, who is really just one of Roger’s disguises that Stan can’t recognize. And just to rub it in, Mr. Vanderhill gets Steve a membershp at the club without having to do a damn thing.

Of course, after a while Steve acts like a spoiled douche which causes Stan to wage a bet with Mr. Vanderhill in a round of golf, with the winner getting Steve’s services. But, despite the result Stan actually does become a member, and just like his son, starts to act like a douche…so much so now Steve wants things to go back to the things they were. As such, he enlists the help of the immortal…HULK HOGAN!!

That’s right…HULK FREAKIN HOGAN!!! It looks as though MacFarlane and Co., took a page out of Brad Neely’s play book by enlisting the help of the 24 inch pythons to help break this week’s episode wide the fuck open. You would think this would be a weird episode to have him too, but with Stan and Steve trading Ghostbusters one liners, Stan doing his best Dangerfield impression, having the fabled legendary Hogan cut a promo that fans of 1980 WWE would be absolutely proud of. And I would’ve given this episode a perfect score too if it weren’t for the stupid Francine one-liners gag.
