Ratings Are In 12/2/15: A Lot of People Still Watch A Charlie Brown Christmas

Despite the awful quality of the ABC special that preceded it, according to the latest ratings report from Deadline.com, a lot of people are still watching A Charlie Brown Christmas. As a matter of fact, the number of people watching the animated special GREW:

ABC did well with its 8-10 PM Charlie Brown block. At 8 PM, It’s Your 50th Christmas, Charlie Brown anniversary special did a 1.8 in 18-49, followed by A Charlie Brown Christmas (2.0), which logged its most watched outing (7.3 million) since 2012.

Charlie Brown still holds up after all these years, and I’m sure the recent success of The Peanuts movie probably reminded people just how good this franchise is. Just no more specials, please. Thanks…
