Patrick Stewart compares Avery Bullock from AmDad to his show pickup on Starz
[Source: Deadline]
Seth MacFarlane is right now in between contracts with 20th Century FOX, but just because we haven’t heard anything about a re-up that will see the continued production of Seth MacFarlane shows like Family Guy doesn’t mean the creator is sitting on his laurels. As a matter of fact, it’s quite the opposite, as he just got a new live-action comedy picked up at Starz with Patrick Stewart as its star. Interestingly enough, when the press release got out, Patrick spoke highly of his role as ”Avery Bullock” on American Dad and even compared the role to his new one as ”Walter Blunt” premiering in 2015:
“This new character, Walter Blunt, is not at all like Avery, thank God, because this is live action and I am a Knight of the Realm. Blunt is, however, much smarter than Avery and has his own TV show, which has to be better than being Deputy Director of the CIA.”
Coincidentally, ”Avery” has been used a BUNCH of times on this season’s American Dad, so we’ll just have to wait until Sunday Night @ 7:30 pm ET/PT to see if that trend continues on FOX.
Hi Ashley, thank you so much for reading and we love the feedback. Note that on that day we had 14th posts go up and only ten posts show on the front page, so it's possible the preview had already been archived by the time you got to it. One recommendation would be to add our RSS feed to your favorite news aggregator service like Feedly, this way you get all of the latest posts!
