NYCC 2018: “SuperMansion” & “South Park” Events Announced

The roster continues to build out.

With South Park returning with all-new episodes on September 26th @ 10pm ET/PT, it would certainly behoove Comedy Central to make an appearance at New York Comic Con, and that’s exactly what they are going to do.

Comedy Central South Park‘s interactive fan activation that will take place all weekend, Thursday, October 4 – Sunday, October 7 during convention hours (Thursday-Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.).

Cartman’s Escape Room is making its New York Comic-Con debut. Trapped! Caught in another one of Cartman’s schemes, fans will now enter the most impossible to escape place ever invented. South Park fans will have a limited amount of time to solve a series of puzzles using what they know about the Emmy® and Peabody® Award-winning series to free themselves… before it’s too late. This South Park activation is free and open to all New York Comic Con badge holders, located at Booth #662.

South Park features the breathtakingly irreverent and ruthlessly funny misadventures of four foul-mouthed, troublemaking young boys in a small town nestled in the Colorado Rockies. It has been praised by the prestigious Peabody® committee as “COMEDY CENTRAL’s notoriously rude, undeniably fearless lampoon of all that is self-important and hypocritical in American life, regardless of race, creed, color or celebrity status.” We couldn’t agree more.

“South Park” continues to surprise even its most devoted fans each and every week. Known for its unbelievably immediate and ruthless responses to world events, “South Park’s” new episodes bring up-to-the-minute news and pop culture icons (including Al Gore, J. Lo, Kanye West, Oprah, Sir Elton John, Tom Cruise, John Travolta, and P. Diddy) to the town of South Park for social commentary and good old-fashioned ridicule.
