Netflix To Release “Losers” Docu-Series Which Features Animated Re-tellings Of Sports Stories
Easy street.
I was an amateur wrestler for my sophomore year in high school. I posted a 5-15 record with only one pin and four forfeits (essentially, the other school’s team didn’t have someone in my weight division, so I’d get a forfeit). Most matches I would give up half way through and would usually grunt somewhat sexual responses to my opponent just to get a rise out of him. Now, THIS story certainly isn’t gonna be worthy of being featured in Netflix’s Losers, it’s just way too much of a downtrodden tale, but there are many more sports stories that should get way more attention and that’s what this series is. Combining a live-action docuseries with animated retellings of sports tales for an eight-part series is just what the doctor ordered with animated production from the legendary Augenblick Studios (Superjail)
Synopsis: We live in a winner take all society where losing is laughed off, dismissed and shamed. But what do we miss when we turn our back on the lessons that failure gives us?
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
