Netflix ”drones” out Amazon in new vid
This Tuesday we have a BUNCH of new DVD’s/Blu-Rays and other home releases coming out and Amazon has made outrageous claims that they intend to one day deliver their entertainment via unmanned drones instead of the tried and true methods of a UPS or FedEx. I, for one, think this sounds like a nightmare due to the fact that I live in the NYC/NJ Metro area where we have NUMEROUS highways that are already backed up all the time. The last thing we need is these drones getting smacked by big-rigs thereby sending everybody into a 50-car pile-up on Route 287!
It seems as though Netflix is in agreement and believes that having drones deliver your DVDs would be asinine, and as a result created this vid that is rather hysterical showing all the ‘fun’ of unmanned drones.
