“Modern Family” Star Joins Amy Poehler’s “Duncanville”

Everyone runs on Duncanville.

FOX is beginning to fill out it’s 13-episode new series Duncanville slated to premiere as part of the 2019/2020 season. Already confirmed is Amy Poehler who will be voicing the lead role of “Duncan”(whom you can see here) a spectacularly average 15-year-old boy with a rich fantasy life, and the people in his world.

One of those people in his world is his father “Jack” voiced by Ty Burrell (Modern Family), a regular dude that just loves his rock music and proving his dad wrong. He’s almost like a “Randy” from South Park in that he has a Facebook profile so he thinks he’s cool but his kids don’t think he is. His wife is “Annie” (voiced by Poehler), a somewhat overprotective mother to Duncan who also works as a lady that cuts parking tickets but aspires to be something greater at her job. Rashida Jones (Parks and Recreations) will voice Duncan’s crush “MIA”, who has a Lisa Simpson complex to her and Wiz Khalifa as “Mr. Mitch”, the cool guy guidance counselor, gym teacher, and nurse. Kenya Barris will also be part of the series.

Bento Box Animation is producing the series with Mike and Julie Scully and Amy Poehler as co-creators.
