Miss Futurama? Well, “Futurama: Release the Drones” might help
Futurama. One of my all-time favorite shows (and rightfully so). With the breaking news of a Futurama game currently in development, I couldn’t just sit around and order pizza while giant brains took over. Instead, I’m going to be responsible and present all the currently known information to you.
First off, the name of the soon-to-be game is “Futurama: Release the Drones.” I can’t help but wonder if Bender and Mr. Burns collaborated on this title. The Berling-based developer, Wooga, and Fox Digital Entertainment, are partnering to create this mobile game. Yes, it is strictly a mobile game. There has been no word on whether it will be free, paid, or freemium.
With names like Dave Grossman (storyline writer of “Secret of Monkey Island” and “The Wolf Among Us”), former Futurama producer Patric Verrone, and Jonathon Myers (Game of Thrones: Ascent); we soon realize that Wooga may have thought this through. This mobile game has been deemed as a game in the “puzzle” genre. Wooga has also revealed that you will be playing as the Planet Express crew as they wage a trade war against MomCo. Players will be able to “connect groups of delivery drones” in order to solve puzzles.
With little to no more information, we’re left with the obvious questions. Is it going to be good, or is it hanging on the coattails of a massive cult following? When will it be released? Should I get this mole checked out? Only time will tell.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
