MAX Dishes Clone High Reboot Trailer

The new MAX streaming service kicks off May 23rd and so does the rebooted Clone High series. The trailer is down below. The show’s first two episodes will drop on the 23rd with new episodes coming weekly starting June 1st through June 22nd with a two-part finale.

The MTV Entertainment series sees the series return with Phil Lord, Chris Miller, Bill Lawrence, Erica Rivinoja, and Erik Durbin all returning as producers.

A modern refresh of the hit series of the same name, CLONE HIGH follows a high school for clones of the greatest minds in history. Twenty years after the original experiment was put on ice, Joan, JFK, Abe, and Cleo have been thawed out to resume school with their new clone classmates – all while navigating a new set of cultural norms and overly dramatic teen relationships.

Speaking of classmates, a majority of the original cast would be returning, but the role of Cleopatra, who was originally voiced by white actress Christa Miller, will now be voiced by Mitra Jouhari, while Christa Miller will now be playing Candide Simpson (a new character), but the character of Gandhi will not be returning. Joining the cast will be Ayo Edebiri as Harriet Tubman (replacing Debra Wilson), Vicci Martinez as Frida Kahlo, Kelvin Yu as Confucius, Neil Casey as Christopher Columbus, Jana Schmieding as Sacagawea, Sam Richardson as Wesley, Mo Gaffney as Ms. Grumbles, Al Madrigal as Frederico, Danny Pudi as Dr. Neelankavil, Emily Maya Mills as Ethel Merman, and Michael Bolton, Ian Ziering, and Steve Kerr as fictionalized versions of themselves, alongside Mandy Moore returning to voice herself.

The returning stars include Will Forte as Abe; Nicole Sullivan as Joan; Philip Lord as Scudworth; Chris Miller as JFK and Mr. B;  Donald Faison back as George Washington Carver; and Judah Miller as Scangrade.
