Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy” TV Series Gets Second Season Start Date and Time

Nice timing.

Set to premiere on March 11th @ 9 pm ET in a two-parter will be the second season premiere of Disney XD’s Guardians of the Galaxy. In the return episode, the Guardians go to Earth and team up with the Avengers to defeat the High Evolutionary. Leading into the season premiere will be a bunch of shorts featuring the likes of M.O.D.O.K. (!!!!!) and Man-Thing.

You can check out a first-look at the aforementioned Guardians shorts over on USA Today. I’ll be curious to see if the upcoming season of Guardians of the Galaxy will include any of the new characters that James Gunn’s live-action sequel will include such as Mantis or Ego.

Our Take

The first season of Guardians of the Galaxy was kinda crappy, hopefully, the producers tightened some bolts and we can get a decent show leading up to the highly-anticipated movie sequel.
