LeSean Thomas’ Art from Black Dynamite Season One

Those of you who follow my twitter account may remember me asking LeSean Thomas for the OK to post some of his Black Dynamite art. You’re probably wondering if I forgot about it, no: here it is!

I hadn’t forgotten. I’ve just been busy and time slipped away from me! Also, there is so much to post! I get a lot of stuff from LeSean’s tumblr, he posts so much goodness it’s hard to know what to reblog next, when he’s not posting his own work he’s highlighting the work of other animators- there’s some great stuff there.

Today, I posted some cool art by DC animator Phil Bourassa, only to find that LeSean had posted some of the same art only a few hours before me. I took that “great minds” moment as a sign that it was time for me to look at Thomas’s work once again and present you with these cool promotional posters for season one of Black Dynamite, along with a few character designs from the same run. Black Dynamite has been renewed for a second season at Adult Swim though no release has date has been promised yet. The cast and crew are working hard on the new series and we’ll bring you news of it when we get it! If you just can’t wait, check out the monthly Black Dynamite comic book from IDW.
