Ham Radio – Pilot

There’s a reason why Mondo Animation keeps soaring up the Youtube chart for the last few weeks, and Ham Radio proves it. Starring Ry and his friend Kurt, Ham Radio follows two guys who have conversations that have Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dunn tendencies all over ’em, that said imagine if those guys had a radio show! That’s the basic premise of this show, where two guys yam it up on the air and its so friggin’ funny with animation that’s very sharp and very, very pro. This one should have ‘pick up’ written all over it.

Mass Debatin

Looks to be somewhat inspired by the Youtube hit series Epic Rap Battles where two famous dudes do rap songs with funny premises. The lyrics are really, really funny but with a tired premise the show does little to separate itself.

Explosion Bus Episode 24

The boys behind Dr. Katz are back with Season 2 of Explosion Bus and this time around we get a fresh coat of paint and almost a completely different departre from the original run of the show. Gone is the ‘squigglevision’ style that Katz is world known for and instead replaces with that of a typical web show which doesn’t exactly bode well with me. Yea, the animation is smoother, the lips are timed correctly, but without the classic animation style that made Katz king, we get a facelift that sends the show into the pack of mediocrity.
