Hulu stays hot with potential Cablevision deal

We told you recently that Hulu had struck a deal with Adult Swim, and now it looks like another deal could be close. According to Deadline.com, Cablevision and Hulu Plus could be working on a deal that would see the streaming service become available on Cablevision’s  channel lineup and available for $7.99 a month.

So what does that mean for you? For $7.99 a month you get a full library of South Park, new episodes of The Awesomes, and pretty much one of the most impressive lineups for cartoons that you’ll see anywhere.

This deal is rather huge, and could be a game changer. As the article noted (and having known this already being that I live in the NYC tri-state area), Cablevision offers a cord-cutting cable package for $35 where you get broadband internet and over-the-antenna television so that you can still get your local news and whatnot so I can see this being a fantastic add-on for that package.

Today is Hulu’s Upfront presentation so we should learn more about both this deal, and about when the hell The Awesomes premiers its third season.
