Hulu sets dates for rest of animated slate coming this fall!

The Awesomes was just the beginning.

This has been a busy first 8 months for Hulu as it enters into the foray of animated comedy, and it doesn’t stop with the recent premier of The Awesomes neither. We’ve been talking about the new Eva Longoria animated series called Mother Up! and just last week we reported that Fugget About It was headed to Hulu as well (still trying to figure out if it’s season 2 episodes or just posting up of Season 1 episodes). That said, both shows are dated  and snippets are provided for each program following a recent Hulu Press Release:

9 Story Fugget About It v03 (2)

“Fugget About It”-Premiers October 13th

For fans of: “Family Guy,” “American Dad!” “South Park,” “The Simpsons”

A hilarious, edgy and outrageous animated sitcom about the misadventures of Jimmy Falcone, a former New York mob boss, and his family who must enter a witness protection program in small-town Canada. The Falcones are now the “MacDougals” and it’s not easy going from glorified gangsters to neighborhood nobodies. It’s a fish out of water story, except these fish are sharks! The show features notable guest appearances including Andrea Martin and Howie Mandel. “Fugget About It,” airing on Fridays at 10pm, was the #1 most watched Canadian show on TELETOON at Night for adults 18-49.

“Mother Up!” – Premieres: November 6th

For fans of: “South Park,” “Family Guy,” “Up All Night,” “Don’t Trust the B- in Apartment 23”

“Mother Up!” is a 13-episode, half-hour animated comedy series chronicling the misguided attempts at parenthood of Rudi Wilson (Eva Longoria), a disgraced former music exec, as she transitions from the towers of Manhattan to the carpool line of suburbia, where she finds herself alone and hopelessly underequipped to manage her two kids and new life. Bringing her street smarts and urban lifestyle to the suburbs, Rudi confronts the endless challenges of parenthood with a series of misguided improvised solutions, putting her life on the line like never before. Eva Longoria (“Desperate Housewives”) and Mass Animation’s Yair Landau (“Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs”) and Michael Shipley (“Family Guy,” “American Dad”) are executive producers. The series was developed by Rogers Media and co-produced by Breakthrough Entertainment and Bardel Entertainment, in association with Mass Animation.
