Hulu announces return date for ”The Awesomes”

According to Hulu’s blog, The Awesomes’ second season FINALLY has a premier date of August 4th.

For those that don’t know, The Awesomes is an animated series produced by Seth Meyers and Michael Shoemaker that stars ”Prock” played by Meyers and a killer cast that includes Ike Barinholtz, Rashida Jones, and the brilliant Bill Hader. The series revolves around a team of superheroes trying to keep their city safe from the clutches of evil and probably themselves.

Interestingly enough, the series is returning on a Monday which is a bit different from the series premier last year that would get posted up on Thursdays. It will also be interesting to see if the show premiers with two episodes like last year or if we are getting just one episode for the start of the second season.
