Home Release Info Announced for “Batman: Killing Joke”
Looks like not everyone has to go to San Diego Comic Con to check out the world premiere of Batman: Killing Joke, because EW has the news that the home release of DC Comics’ R-rated animated feature is set.
Batman: Killing Joke will be available on Digital HD starting July 23rd, and in stores as a DVD and Blu-Ray set on August 2nd. The article also has a note as to what is coming with the home releases:
In addition to two 22-minute episodes from The New Batman Adventures and Batman: The Animated Series, the deluxe edition and combo pack versions will include two featurettes: Madness Set to Music, a documentary which chronicles the creation of the film’s storyboards and original score, and Many Shades of the Joker: The Tale of the Killing Joke, a making-of short that explores the distinct style of the graphic novel. Fans who purchase the combo pack Blu-ray edition will also receive a limited edition figurine of the Joker.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
