Guest Star News: Marvel/”The Simpsons” ; “Rick and Morty”/ AEW ; “Crank Yankers” / Bobby Brown Incoming

For my money, there hasn’t been a better shock to the status quo that is sports entertainment than with AEW Wrestling. The company has come along and given the WWE all it can handle and it’s starting to show in the quality of talent they are getting and in the excellent showcases that are going down. Furthermore, it’s forcing WWE to reach deep into it’s pockets to shell out big bucks for washed up combat sports stars like Tyson Fury and Cain Velasquez to go along with the already terrible Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley.

In any event, fans attending next Wednesday Night’s event will get free masks inspired by Rick and Morty in a rather ingenious cross promotion event. That said, don’t be surprised if the duo’s appearance will only be relegated to masks on the TNT broadcast as sister network Adult Swim is gearing up for the fourth season premiere of Rick and Morty happening on Nov 10th.   I would NOT be surprised if the show’s titular characters pulled a move akin to the Emmys last year.

The return of Crank Yankers has been nothing short of amazing this season, and while we didn’t get a new episode this week, we did get a sneak preview of an upcoming episode via a show that’s no stranger to puppets, The Howard Stern Show. Turns out, Jimmy Kimmel will voice Terrance, a Hollywood assistant that calls up one Bobby Brown, yes, THAT Bobby Brown, and does his best to try and convince the widow to Whitney Houston to let Millie Bobby Brown to have his name. You can listen to a preview of this call below in what already sounds like a legendary crank call.

Set to premiere on February 23rd on FOX will be a brand-new episode of The Simpsons entitled “Bart the Bad Guy” that will see Marvel producers Kevin Feige, Anthony, and Joe Russo as guest stars. The brother directors of Marvel’s Avengers: Endgame will guest as movie executives trying to get a movie called Vindicators not spoiled because of Bart who was lucky enough to somehow see a screening before anyone else. Kevin will voice an evil alien supervillain named “Chinnos” that you can see below:
