Graphic Novels “Five Nations: The Age of Atlantis” And “Tangles” Being Developed For Animated Adaptations

Five volumes of an upcoming graphic novel series called “Five Nations: The Age of Atlantis” are in development for both a Web3 (NFT) and animated series adaptation. The series follows five heroes from five nations must set aside deep-rooted differences to stop the dinosaurs threatening humanity’s existence.
A young hero creates a weapon to protect his people from the polar dinosaurs invading his nation. When his invention falls into the wrong hands, it thrusts all Five Nations into a human-dinosaur world war, and ultimately leads to the great flood that sinks Atlantis – burying its stories, secrets and mysteries…until now. Five Nations: The Age of Atlantis is the story about humanity surviving the last age of climate change and the heroes who helped us do it. It celebrates life’s resilience in the face of its ultimate challenge.


Deadline is reporting that Point Grey Pictures (Seth Rogen/Evan Goldberg) Monarch Media, Lylas Pictures, and Giant Ant are teaming up to adapt Sarah Leavitt’s graphic novel Tangles: A Story About Alzheimer’s, My Mother and Me into an animated feature-length film.

The Leah Nelson-directed film focuses on the horror that is Alzheimer’s disease which begins to strip away her mother’s vibrant personality, a headstrong young woman is forced to return to her oddball family in the conservative small town she recently fled in order to care for her. She quickly realizes she must accept the cruel and warped reality of the disease – and the imperfect beauty of her family – in order to become the daughter they need.
