Fuse Dates Sugar and Toys Season Two

Fuse has announced a September 20th @ 11 pm ET/PT start date/time for sketch animated comedy series, Sugar and Toys. The Carl Jones/Brian Ash joint is expected to bring six brand-new episodes that is expected to be more reliant on the animation and less reliant on the Kyle live-action scenes due to COVID-19.  Florida’s Echo Bridge is handling animation duties once again with Robot Chicken’s Jordan Allen-Dutton tapped as a new executive producer. Writers for the upcoming season include Anna Salinas, Idriys Jones and Christian Pierce all of whom have contributed bits that include but are not limited to the return of Ye, Yeezy & Yezus, Clue, and OG Steve.

Bits on the way will see the likes of Obama on Mars ala Dr. Manhattan in Watchmen, and parodies featuring the likes of Cardi B., Lizzo, Billie Eilish, and The Mandalorian. Watch a teaser trailer below to get an idea of what’s in store.

Synopsis:

Creators Carl Jones and Brian Ash (producers, Black Dynamite and The Boondocks) are at it again, in the new season of Fuse’s Sunday night adult animation series.  Sugar and Toys brings a wild new twist on the Saturday morning cartoons we all grew up with – but a whole lot less innocent.  Adult comedy, social commentary and music culture parody crash the cartoon party, speaking directly to the trends and issues most relevant to a young audience, and bookended by host and multi-platinum rapper and actor KYLE.
