Funimation And Retrocrush Announce English Dub Debuts For Rest Of March 2021

Funimation has announced two English dub premieres all happening within the next several days. Check out previews for both below:

 

Quintessential Quintuplets Season 2 is premiering March 25th with all of the English dub cast and crew returning from the show’s first season. As for production Kaori is replacing Satoshi Kuwabara as the director of the season, and Keiichirō Ōchi is returning to write the scripts. Illumination is still the animation studio.

Synopsis:

Five times the gain. Five times the pain. Futaro already has his hands full with the quintuplets, but when his first love shows up out of nowhere, things get even more complicated. How the girls deal with the competition may just seal their fate—and his!

Funimation is premiering the first episode of the English dubbed adaptation of Mars Red a week before it’s Japanese broadcast. The new anime television series is directed by Kōhei Hatano and is to be co-produced by Funimation. The series is animated by Signal.MD, with Jun’ichi Fujisaku writing the series’ scripts, Yukari Takeuchi adapting the character designs originally by Kemuri Karakara, and Toshiyuki Muranaka composing the series’ music.  Here is the English dub cast and crew.

Synopsis:

Retrocrush has licensed the Diskotek Media English dub adaptation for Ghost Stories which is now streaming.

The anime series was produced in 2000, by Studio Pierrot, and directed by Noriyuki Abe. The series was planned by Osamu Takashi Shimizu, Shirakawa Riyuuzou, and Yuji Nunokawa. The producers were Nakamura Yuriko, Katsumata Hideo, and Hagino Takashi. Oonishi Masaya designed the characters and Takata Shigeru was the artistic director. The sound was directed by Abe; sound effects were done by Mutō Masako, produced by Zack Promotions, and recorded at Seion Studio. The background score of the series was composed by Kaoru Wada.

Synopsis:

Years ago, all of the ghosts in a haunted schoolhouse were banished by a certain student. Now, they’re back—and they want revenge… Satsuki and Keiichirou Miyanoshita are two siblings recovering from the tragic loss of their mother. After moving to their mother’s hometown, they learn that the local school they have transferred to is an old building—one said to be haunted. Despite initially brushing it off as a silly rumor, the two soon discover that ghosts are indeed real and that they’re after them! Gakkou no Kaidan is the creepy tale of the lives of these siblings and their newfound friends as they try to survive the school’s ghosts—with a little help from their pet cat along the way.
