From Pixel Pirate Studios comes ‘Dawg Dayz’ this July

Known mostly for making animated history spots for Nick Jr. Pixel Pirate Studios has been posting up a bunch of new pics from its upcoming series called Dawg Dayz set to air in July on an as yet named network. The premise of the show follows lead character Jamal whom is a Los Angeles resident originally from the East Coast trying to make it big as a comedy sitcom star. However, like most people that move to LA, Jamal has bills to pay so he takes up shop with a hot dog truck and parks it directly in front of a  bunch of studios in a humorous attempt at trying to get noticed. The show stars Douglas Jackson, Seth Michaels and Jason Harvey the latter of whom is writing and directing the series.

No word yet on a specific date in July when the series premiers and whether or not this is a pilot being shopped to TV or uploaded onto Youtube. We do know the first episode is ‘Getting the Grade’ with the premise as mentioned on their Facebook page, “Jamal needs to get the truck cleaned “pronto” before the city health inspector arrives to give it a grade. The only problem, Jamal’s hungover, the truck is a mess and the universe continues to throw obstacles in his way.”
