FOX Wants To Get “Cocky” With New Animated Comedy

FOX is developing an animated comedy with The Knick creators Jack Amiel and Michael Begler in association with Bento Box Entertainment/FOX Entertainment. It’s called Cocky, and Deadline has the exclusive info you can see below:

Cocky is the story of Bert, a rideshare driver with a Ph.D., who is the smartest idiot in the world, and what happens when a guy who lacks any filter whatsoever lives with the most insecure, overly-sensitive talking Cockatoo on the planet.

Michael Sugar is a producer, and Cocky is the latest in an increasingly volatile Animation Domination lineup that has various series in development and production, a couple of new ones in the forms of The Great North and Housebroken are slated to premiere later this year.
