Bubble UK: FOX UK to air ‘American Dad’ Season 12 almost simultaneously with TBS
There could be some confusion as to what season of American Dad is on the way, and it’s warranted. Last year, FOX aired three episodes of American Dad constituting an 11th season of the Seth MacFarlane-produced series. Then in October of 2014, THAT was supposed to be the start of American Dad season 12. What’s the difference? The difference is in who is paying for the episodes, however it looks as though 20th Century FOX is kinda of distancing itself away from the separation last year and combing seasons 11 and 12 into one big ol’ season 11. Confused? Yea, so am I. Think this is bad? Adult Swim does the same shit with Squidbillies and it’s annoying.
The reason why I had to straighten all that shit out is because FOX UK recently announced that American Dad season 12 (the new one) will premier new episodes almost simultaneously with TBS’s airings which should kick off this October. In the past, it could take up to one year before UK audiences get episodes of American Dad that have already aired here in the States.
This is great news for UK fans, and I hope other British networks follow suit with their American acquisitions. iTV, FOX UK, and BBC are all in the Seth MacFarlane business which probably helps explain why he’s as popular (if not more so) as he is in the United States.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
