FOX UK gets second-run rights for Seth MacFarlane toons
Hot off the heels of Seth MacFarlane’s Bordertown, The Cleveland Show, Family Guy, and American Dad! all getting first-run rights deals on UK’s iTV, FOX UK has announced that it has retained SECOND run rights for all of these shows with American Dad! Season 11 set to premier Thursday, May 21st @ 10 pm.
It looks like Bordertown won’t go the way of Murder Police in terms of not airing due to the fact that the Seth MacFarlane-produced series has already made lucrative international deals, so a US premier date should be forthcoming despite all of the bullshit we’re going through now in trying to get a date nailed down.
For those that don’t know, Bordertown is an upcoming animated series that is set in a fictitious desert town near the Mexico border and centers on the intertwining daily lives of two neighbors: Bud Buckwald and Ernesto Gonzales. The voice cast includes Hank Azaria, Alex Borstein, Missi Pyle, Judah Friedlander and Nicholas Gonzalez.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
