FOX Teams Up With “Robot Chicken” Producers For Stop-Motion Holiday Special

Stoopid Buddy Stoodios continues to have a solid week. Only a day after a new series gets ordered by Quibi, the studio has announced a new holiday stop-motion special coming to FOX.

The special is being written by the great Tom Root and it will be an hour-long special featuring high-octane action featuring the likes of Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, and even heroes derived from other holidays like St. Patrick’s Day,Thanksgiving, and others.

This isn’t actually Stoopid Buddy Stoodios’ only affiliation with FOX. In fact, the elaborate costumes you see on The Masked Singer are produced in the same studio. In this instance, the stop-motion special will be directed by John Harvatine IV with Seth Green, Tom Root, Matthew Senreich, and Eric Towner as executive producers.

The animated special will air as part “Not So Silent Nights” on FOX which will be part of FOX’s 2020/2021 Winter schedule.
