FOX Gets “Housebroken” With Lisa Kudrow-Starring Animated Comedy
Earlier this year we told you about an animated comedy that Lisa Kudrow was working on with FOX that was part of a pilot presentation and now Deadline has the word that the series has been greenlit to order. The series is called Housebroken and it’s being produced by Kapital Entertainment (they also had a pilot presentation for a series called Botcop) , FOX Entertainment, and Bento Box Entertainment. We can only assume that the other animated starring vehicle that featured Lisa Kudrow in the pilot, Lyle & Caroline hasn’t gone through or is being forced to recast.
Written by DuVall, Crittenden and Allan, Housebroken is an irreverent comedy that explores human dysfunction and neurosis through a group of neighborhood animals who live in the suburbs. It stars Kudrow, Duvall and Faxon, and features the voices of Horgan, Will Forte, Tony Hale, Jason Mantzoukas, Sam Richardson, Bresha Webb and Greta Lee.
The therapy dog animated comedy is the latest “get” for FOX who has recently ordered Bless the Harts to a second season, is set next to premiere Duncanville, and still has The Great North on the way. The network also just bought a pilot from the former creators of HBO’s Animals, so they’ve been keeping busy adding to their collection that already has The Simpsons, Family Guy, and Bob’s Burgers.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
